Christianity and a Third Way (Hosted by ICCM)

  • St. Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church 1525 Newton Street Northwest Washington, DC 20010 USA (map)

How can Christians move towards cross-cultural love by pursuing a "third way," eschewing unnecessary polarization?

Christian Civics co-founder Rick Barry will be part of a roundtable discussion hosted by the Institute for Cross-Cultural Mission.

How can Christians serve as salt and light without falling prey to black-and-white thinking? What does faithful discipleship look like in a way that is not legalistic and eschews a sacred/secular theological fallacy? How do we navigate an increasingly polarized society with grace and nuance? What does it look like to afford people dignity and respect amidst disagreement? Christian civility and witness? Our storytellers are pastors from a variety of backgrounds who will be discussing their experiences and you are invited to listen in. Dinner will be provided.

To help cover the costs of this event, we ask attendees to consider making a donation to the Institute. Thank you!

Please note that space is limited so please RSVP soon if you intend to be a guest. Each invitee is permitted one additional guest. Please indicate this in your RSVP.

**PROOF of COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test will be required to enter.**
