Every other Tuesday from September through election day, Center for Christian Civics is hosting prayer conference calls to pray for our candidates, our nation and our churches during the election season.

During each 15-minute lunchtime call, pastors or ministry leaders from around the country will lead participants in Christ-centered prayer for the effect the divisive election season is having on our congregations; the ways in which our congregations can offer healing to the communities around us; and wisdom, emotional health and spiritual health for the candidates and their staffs.

Our election-day prayer call will be held at 12:30 pm Eastern Time and will be led by pastors Scotty Smith and Chuck Garriott. Rev. Smith is Teacher in Residence at West End Community Church in Franklin, TN, and author of several books on prayer. Rev. Garriott has ministered to men and women who work in government around the world for over 20 years as director of Ministry to State. If you'd like reminders about upcoming calls, sign up for our mailing list below!

Please remember to join us on election day, November 8, at 12:30 pm EDT. Call in at (515) 739-1020 and use the access code 194304. The line opens a few minutes before the call begins, and the program starts at 12:30 pm sharp. All prayer calls are fifteen minutes long--short enough to fit into a lunch break--and provide three model prayers you can continue to use to guide your prayer time in the weeks to come.
